How to use IP
|
To only browse photos, movies, maps & info : Go ahead, no need to register.
To license photos online : Register & select photos adding them to lightboxes by clicking
on the lightbox symbol under each photo. In your lightboxes, use the calculator to specify
usage & add your final selection to your cart for secure payment by Visa or Mastercard.
Files are usually uploaded within 24-48hours on working days. To get an idea of rates
check our : Online Price Calculator
To license photos offline : Email us specific requirements to help us research for you.
You can also email lightboxes, layouts or image ID numbers you have already selected.
For quotes please be as specific as possible including use, media, size, quantity, inserts,
placement, duration, territory, end user & exclusivity if required.
To license movies : We are still developing movies so please email any requests.

Our Imagery
|
Not all imagery is available to use/license. Each image is keyworded either :
Creative
Imagery for commercial, editorial & personal licensing that should not need clearances.
This imagery should not contain recognizable people or property without release documents.
Editorial
Imagery intended only for editorial or educational use, i.e. book, magazine & web editorials.
These images may not be safe to use commercially unless release documents are secured.
Photographer credit & the photo description or caption (embedded in the 'file info' of images
or as on IP) must be displayed beside images. Additional fees apply if these are not visible.
All texts about the images must be of 'fair comment' as described at www.useplus.com
If you are not sure about credit or captions please ask us first before publishing the images.
Not For Sale
Imagery intended only for sharing and not intended for licensing. This includes photographer
portfolios / personal / educational imagery. Clearances are needed before any use.
Please check keywords below an image for "creative" or "editorial" or "not for sale" to see
if its available or not. It is not possible to license imagery for commercial use if its marked
"editorial" or "not for sale" unless we research & secure the required releases first.
Most of our imagery is not uploaded to the site yet. It is gradually being prepared, scanned,
retouched, corrected & keyworded. We will continually add imagery & hope to have uploaded
10-20,000 by 2009.
Some imagery may be temporarily or permanently unavailable for use in specific territories
or industries. Availability of imagery cannot be guaranteed until time of licensing.

Comp Use
|
Watermarked "comp" imagery in the photos section of this website may be used in your
internal layouts or storyboards for 'dummy' presentations to clients. The authors do not
grant you licence to use the imagery in final materials. Except for a limited internal testing,
the authors grant you no rights, and you may not distribute or license comp images.
